La Tomatina is an annual food fight in Bunol Spain that consists of one food- tomatos. Over 20,000 participants travel internationally each year and spend a day throwing over 1,200 tons of tomatoes at each other (BBC).
I rebranded this event with a new logo and touchpoints to be pay homage to this unique festival that has stood the test of time.

Identity
Currently, La Tomatina lacks a disctinctive visual identity. There are many sites that offer ticket packages to the event, each with their own visual identities, but the event itself does not have any associated branding.

The logomark design process began with key aspects of the events and its
history in mind.

Exploration
I narrowed in a concept that emphasizes the nature of the event itself, representing the playful squish and squash of the tomatoes as participants throw them.
